A serial entrepreneur by trade with over 21 years of experience, Grant is a technologist at heart. He most recently served as the CTO at PacketExchange, a London-based global telecommunications firm. Scott Walker has over 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales, sales engineering, service delivery, indirect channels, client services, and operations at leading technology firms such as Equinix, Masergy Communications, Ericsson, and AT&T. At Equinix, Scott’s team launched the world’s first public cloud direct connect solution with AWS, and at Ericsson he headed the Cloud Infrastructure Practice transforming global telcos’ network infrastructure to launch new 5G services and edge computing. Senior Vice President of Connectivity
Tony has over 25 years of Network Engineering and Management experience, most recently as CTO at Global Capacity where he led the Architecture and Engineering teams and was responsible for the deployment of the IP/MPLS core, creation of the Ethernet aggregation infrastructure, and expansion of access network including MEF 2.0 certification. Prior to Global Capacity, Tony worked at several Service Providers including twtelecom, TelePacific and CENX. Tony received his MS in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and his BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
Farrah has nearly two decades of IT experience, primarily in the telecommunication industry. Prior to Unitas Global, Farrah held senior level roles in business development and management at several startups, such as Mzima Networks, and Fortune 500 and multinational corporations, such as PacketExchange, GTT, Arbinet, and NTT/VERIO. Farrah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from California State University, Fullerton.

Erik has over a decade of management experience in finance, technology, operations, and sales. Prior to Unitas Global, Erik held the position of VP of Sales at CoreSite, a publicly traded data center REIT (NYSE: COR), and served as a senior financial analyst for The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm. Erik holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis on Global Management from the University of Southern California.
Vice President Partner Alliances
As VP of Partner Alliances, Lawrence brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Most recently, he served for 8 years as VP of Business Development at Allyance Communications. He has also held key sales and management roles at Nortel Networks, Qwest Communications, and AboveNet. Now based in Southern California, Lawrence has worked and lived abroad in both South Korea and Japan.

Bret Maxwell is a Managing General Partner at MK Capital. He is also the Managing General Partner on three of the Productivity Funds totaling $200 million in committed capital. Bret has been a decision-making partner in six other fully invested funds, representing over $300million in committed capital. Prior to founding MK Capital, he was the co-Founder of First Analysis’ venture capital practice in 1985. Bret’s areas of expertise include outsourced business services, telecom and internet infrastructure, and energy and power infrastructure. Bret is a graduate of The McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University and Kellogg’s Graduate School of Management. He has served as the Chairman of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, and is a director on the board of Mount Sinai Hospital and on the finance committee of the Jewish United Fund. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst.
Paul Weinstein is a founding General Partner at Azure Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm with over $750million under management. Prior to founding Azure, Paul was a managing director with Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, PaineWebber, and Kidder Peabody. With over 25 years of investment experience, Paul’s primary investment focus is on communications technology, data center, cloud infrastructure, and applications and mobility solutions. Paul is Chairman of Unitas and represents Azure Capital on the Boards of Unitas, Fonality, Coraid, and Load Dynamix. He is a graduate of Babson College with a BS degree in Finance and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Andrew Olsen is a principal at Boathouse Capital, a middle market private equity fund which manages more than $350 million of committed capital. He has completed over 20 industry investments, and currently serves on the boards of 7 organizations. Prior to his time at Boathouse Capital, Andrew served as a Research Associate for Morgan Stanley & Co. Andrew earned his BS, Economics from Wharton, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. During college, Andrew drove a solar-powered car from Chicago to Los Angeles as part of a competition that drew teams from more than two dozen universities. He finished last.
Jarrett brings over 30 years of IT and technology experience to Unitas. As independent board member, Jarrett works alongside fellow board members and Unitas leadership staff to establish policies for corporate management and advise on strategic planning. In his previous experience, Jarrett has served as COO of Digital Realty, COO of CoreSite, CMO of Equinix, and most recently CEO of Appleby Strategy Group, LLC. Jarrett received his BA and MBA from Lehigh University.

Kelvin has over 25 years of experience managing the finance and accounting functions of both public and privately held companies. Prior to joining Unitas Global, Kelvin served as the Corporate Controller for a national rental car company and CFO for a regional healthcare provider. Additionally, he spent eight years as Regional Controller and then Director of Finance for the Westfield Group. Kelvin is a Certified Public Accountant. Saam's duties encompass hands-on leading, planning, organizing, and evaluating Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Deal Analysis, and Client Services teams & processes. Saam always puts the client first. Joss Wynne Evans, Head of Legal Affairs, is an entrepreneur with wide commercial experience, and a company lawyer of fifteen years’ experience. He was formerly general counsel to Global Capacity Inc. Joss lives and works out of the Highlands of Scotland.
Chief Compliance Officer
Paco has been in IT for over 19 years. Starting out as an IT generalist and then serving as an information security officer for a midwest region commercial bank, he went on to serve as a director of IT compliance for Texas Tech University and the University of Alabama. Returning home to the Kansas City metro area, Paco worked as a senior consultant with BKD, performing IT risk consulting, audits, and attestation services. Vice President of Carrier Relations
Julie has nearly 2 decades of Pricing, Management, and Carrier Relations experience in the telecommunications industry. At Teleport Communications Group (acquired by AT&T), Julie served as Midwest Regional Marketing Manager. She then held Senior Management positions at Universal Access, and most recently Global Capacity, managing the Pricing team, as well as overseeing the role of Carrier Relations. In both organizations, Julie streamlined the pricing process by enhancing competitive marketplace solutions via automation and adherence to business rules and best practices, calculating millions of TDM, Ethernet, Internet and Broadband access solutions per month, while also establishing strong relationships with vendor partners. Julie obtained her undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and her Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, IL. Elaine leads the marketing department by integrating startup ideals with enterprise methodologies. With pride and enthusiasm, she manages all internal and external communication while formulating and implementing strategy around cloud solutions, content development, and events. Elaine holds her B.A. from LMU in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, as well as Travel and Tourism, and a minor in Art History.
Vice President of Connectivity Operations
Kathleen has over 20 years of diversified telecommunications experience in global project management, implementation, process development, and service management with an emphasis on operational excellence. Prior to Unitas, she has held senior leadership positions at a number of organizations, including Universal Access, Vanco, Global Capacity, and most recently, GTT.
Kathleen holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Saint Xavier University and a BA from Eastern Illinois University.
Senior Vice President, Finance
Janet has over 13 years of experience across corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment banking, and public accounting. Prior to Unitas, Janet led the FP&A team at Fullscreen, assisting the company in its equity capital transactions and a successful sale of the company to Otter Media in 2014. Janet also provided finance leadership at Pandora Media both before and after their IPO in 2011. Janet is a licensed CPA and holds an MBA from MIT, an MA in Economics from NYU, and a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley.
Heather brings over 20 years of accounting experience to Unitas, with a background in entertainment and technology companies. Prior to Unitas, Heather led the international accounting team at MySpace, managing over 20 companies across the globe including the UK, Australia, Asia, and South America. As Controller, she is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, payroll, and Human Resources. Heather earned her BA degree in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
